Women of the World Festival

Women of the World (WOW) festival, which is held at the Southbank Centre, runs from the 7th – 12th March. A champion for gender equality, the festival looks at the obstacles that keep women from fulfilling their potential while also celebrating the achievements of women and girls worldwide.

WOW festival incorporates a number of events such as talks, mentoring sessions and workshops. Alongside these are some performances from some of the best female musicians, comedians, performers and writers, including one–off events with Sandi Toksvig and Gillian Anderson.
